The 10th Annual USA Catchball Tournament will be in Norman in 2026, and News 9 spoke to USA Catchball Association Executive Director Vered Lopez to learn more about the sporting event. What is it about this sport and the way it's been modified that really has people enjoying it? Lopez: Well, it's an all-women's sport. So when we get on the court, and you know, our demographic is 25 and older, but you have women in their late 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, I mean, it just goes. We get on the court, and it's this women's empowerment. It's like an instant bond. We come to compete, but we do it with love. We do it with friendship.
